ABC 7 reported the news but said no one was hurt. The tree missed a passing car but no mention of pedestrians or civilians hurt. It looked like the tree uprooted on TV.
I took my daughter on a playdate right around the corner from where this happened. When we drove home, we had to go past it. Channel 2 news had a news van reporting, and I was a bit confused because the tree itself didn’t look like a big deal. No one seemed upset or worried–everyone was smiling. I saw the blurb posted at the Daily News website and thought it seemed strange. Maybe if someone was hit, it was just barely?
wanted to let everyone know that the person that WAS hit by the tree on buenaventura is in the hospital trying to recover and yes the tree did hit him and knock him out and down, as far as i would know the tree came down in the street where he was and knock him down, and is been in hospital since then.He is alive and trying to get better but does have alot of broken bones and the good part is no head injury.oh yeah and for sure im not smiling.
