What Is The Best “Pig Out” Place In Woodland Hills? Is there one?
I’ve spent the majority of my morning watching a Man vs Food marathon on the Travel Channel. It is making me extremely hungry. So, I pose this question to the readers of this blog, “What is tbe best ‘pig out’ place in Woodland Hills? And, is there one? I’ll even settle for all of the west valley. Is there a ridiculously big burrito somewhere? A gigantic hamburger? An over the top pizza? Anything? Leave your suggestions in the comments.

I was just wondering this myself while watching Chowdown Countdown and Man v. Food. While there may be some popular chain restaurants in Woodland Hills, I don’t know of any unique, one-of-a-kind restaurants or restaurant challenges.
That’s a tall order. The only unique dish I can think of at a semi-non-chain restaurant is the Molcajete at Sol y Luna (Tarzana… sorry) A boiling hot concoction of steak, chicken, cheese, and cactus in a mole-like sauce served in a volcanic rock molcajete.
The Munch Box in Chatsworth has a double chili cheese burger and chili cheese fries that tops Tommy’s Burger. It may not be gigantic like some of the ones you see on MvF, but amazing non-the-less. There also is Red Balls Pizza in Woodland Hills. NY Style pizza comes in one size, huge! Go for the Brooklyn (sausage and meatballs).
Not necessarily a single-item pig out, but Fab’s Hot Dogs in Reseda (S/W corner of Tampa/Vanowen) has some amazing hot dogs rivaling anything I’ve had from Pink’s. They were also featured on the Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives.
Daglas Drive-In for sure. Huge variety, but you’ll probably call mercy after the size of the order of fries they give you. http://www.yelp.com/biz/daglas-drive-in-winnetka
