The Stand to begin serving breakfast on March 1st.
I paid a visit to The Stand (5780 Canoga Ave) over the weekend to get an ABC Burger (one of my favorites) to go. While there, I noticed a big new sign announcing to the world that they begin serving breakfast on March 1. Sweet. Looks like they’ll have all the favorites including a Breakfast Burrito, Breakfast Sandwich, various scrambles and egg concoctions, delicious sides like sausage, bacon, and potatoes, as well as oat meal. I’m always excited to see breakfast variety coming into Woodland Hills. I was informed by the staff that they will also be opening at 7:30am daily. Crazy stuff, kids!

Interesting, but pricy. They need to knock about $2 off each item…or maybe a $7 breakfast burrito is just something you have to experience to understand.
They’re going to offer a “breast burrito”?!
The first couple times I ate at The Stand I was very impressed. Then I took a few family members there for an early lunch and we were all “less-than-impressed” to say the least. Two of us had hot dog buns that were hard as a rock. Another had chips that were soggy and limp. Very unimpressed. Threw my “Stand Card” in the trash on the way out…
Classic, I guess I got a little sloppy with the spell checker on “breast burrito.” I will tell you that the service at The Stand leaves a lot to be desired. The staff generally seems like they are bummed out that they have to be there, and/or the service is very slow.
Well, it DOES come with a side of “Stand potatoes, avocado, & salsa” so I guess you get more than the burrito for $6.95. Girard–I think you need to check it out and see if the quantity/quality of the food measures up to the asking price. It’s all in the name of journalism, so the calories don’t count.
I will do it for the community.
