Congratulations To Dennis T. DiBiase
Well, seems like I lost in a landslide (tentatively 58 to 3) to Mr. DiBiase. My only real regret is that I didn’t write my name in for Business Representative. No one was running, and not a single name was written in. I hesitated looking at the ballot for a few minutes, but decided against it. Live and learn. I guess the #2 slot earns me status as an ‘alternate,’ however I believe those powers only come into effect in times of nuclear war. So, at least there’s an outside shot for me.
I believe perhaps I can do more good from my journalistic lair. It’s like in Spider-Man 2 when Tobey Maguire realized giving up his powers for a girl wasn’t worth it. Well, something like that. Anyways, congrats Dennis!

Argh! Walked all the way down to the fire station to vote and I’m only one of three people?! Thought, if you won, your blog would be a great way for people outside the small circle of local activists to keep up with what is happening in our “city.” Perhaps when your readership has grown you will have a larger base to draw upon. Keep doin’ what you’re doin’.

I really appreciate that you did that. Basically, I’ve been working on some business stuff and didn’t really have time to campaign for the slot. Also, I was a little conflicted about using the blog as a promo platform. I’ve been very swamped this last couple of weeks with work, and I need a vacation.
