Kate Mantilini Woodland Hills Retools Happy Hour, Offering Discount Food & Drink Selections 4 to 7pm Weekdays
In keeping with the recent trend among just about all restaurants in Warner Center, Kate Mantilini in Woodland Hills has begun offering discounted food and drink selections in its bar area weekdays from 4 to 7pm.
In addition to $5 house drinks and $6 house martinis, wine selections include Pinot Noir, Cabernet, and Chardonnay by Smoking Loon. Happy Hour beers priced at $3.75 include Fat Tire, Pyramid Hefeweizen, Sierra Nevada Summerfest. Discount appetizers and tapas selections are served in the bar area and range from $4.50 to $7.00. Selections include made to order Guacamole, Tapas Crab Cake, Tapas Ribs, Grilled Artichokes, and several others.
I saw the shiny new sidewalk sign for the happy hour yesterday and decided to call some friends over to check it out with me. Foods and drinks were very good, and the place was pretty busy by about 6pm. See images in the gallery below.

Which is better, Kate M vs. Fleming’s? My wife and I went to Fleming’s a couple of weeks ago from your recommendation. It was good. The only thing I didn’t like was the burger. Probably because I ate all the other stuff before the burger so it just taste plain! Will try Roys next!
tle,
Well, honestly I do love Kate’s but I went there so much years ago that I am kinda burnt out on it. That burger at Fleming’s is amazing, but really the only reason is the meat and juices soaking into that Pretzel Bread bun. I love that.
However, I go to the Morton’s Happy Hour like 2 or 3 times a week. It’s just a nice relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, darkly lit, etc. If you love Shrimp or Oysters, those are great appetizers. And the 3 mini burgers. Same general pricing as Fleming’s.
I’ve also been to PF Chang’s a few times now and will post about that in the coming days.
